안녕하세요! Hi there! Thanks for visiting

Just Korean Food!

I'm just a girl on a journey

to document 365 Korean foods.

Today's food is called

"Gochujang Bulgogi

Samgak Kimbap."

Samgak Kimbaps are triangle-shaped

Kimbaps that are readily available and

sold as a pre-made food at

24-hr convenience stores across Korea.

MAIN INGREDIENTS

Similar to other Kimbaps (regardless

of shape), rice and seaweed paper

are the two common ingredients.

A QUICK KOREAN LESSON

Kim = Seaweed paper

Bap = Cooked/steamed rice

Samgak = Triangle

As its name indicates, this one has

Bulgogi (Korean stir-fried beef)

marinated in Gochujang (Korean

traditional red chili pepper paste)

based sauce as the main filling.

grab-to-go meal for busy people,

usually eaten together with instant

cup noodles, also sold

One or two is usually enough to fill

thestomach, coupled with an instant

very high in carbohydrates.

Samgak Kimbaps are usually

fairly low in proteins, fats and fiber.

Depending on the varieties,

some (pork, beef, chicken, tuna,

egg etc) have more proteins

and fats than others.
